A ritual week has gone by. Additional ritual actions have been taken as we prepare for this year’s Festival.
Ori, ati Ogun have been invited to work to ensure the success of these events
As we promised this year our Festival will have some changes as to it’s format.
In a proposal from Oloye Orawale Oranfe Ife – Oludari Agbaiye of Egbe Onisin Eledumare to it’s Administrators it was agreed to add to this year’s ASE ODUN SANGO the celebration of ASE ODUN ORANFE.
To many these are one and the same deity/Orisa.
However, current and former discussions have indicated there is sufficient enough difference to warrant separate celebrations and celebratory and ritual procedures for us here at Egbe Onisin Eledumare.
The Administrators through Oloye Orawale Oranfe Ife have sought the support of the Oranfe community in Ile Ife to launch a ” pro-type” Oranfe Festival that wer hope will eventually have the Onisoro Obaluru Oranfe ati members ofthe Oranfe community in Ile Ife visit Republic Trinidad & Tobago to celebrate Oranfe here with us.
The challenges this year are thus far more than previous years, as our Administrators grapple with the challenge of making the paradigm change.
It is our great hope that through our celebrations both Ile Ife and Oyo will receive positive highlight.
Our first day’s celebration have been conducted by our women as they create an atmosphere for the peace and stability of our Nation and the Festival.
These rituals are normally conducted at a riverine environment where primordial water energies are appealed to.
All Orisa shrines,awon Kpaale,awon Ile and interested members of the public are invited to join us as we celebrate
