Issue No. 94

ECHO Main Page

NGC will contribute US$150,000 towards the relief efforts in Haiti via the Trinidad and Tobago Red Cross Society. On Jan. 12, a 7.1-magnitude earthquake rocked Haiti, killing thousands of people and leaving others homeless. According to the Associated Press about 230,000 people are presumed dead. This equals the number of persons killed in the tsunami in 2004 in Asia.
