As is usual awon elegbe Egbe Onisin Eledumare ati awon oore ati aladugbo Egbe Onisin Eledumare gather at the beginning of each moon cycle at a date approved by Orisa to recovenant, reconnect and replenish our spiritual baskets so that we may journey for yet another moon.This moon prepares us for our Nation’s Independence Day celebrations and commemorations, the birth of Honourable Marcus Mosiah Garvey. Osun Festival being hosted ny Ile Ijosin Ose Otura of Maturita and the important convening of local minds and organizations through the faciltation of the Emancipation Support Committee of Trinidad & Tobago to contribute towards formulating a mechanism and process for maximising the use of the U,N. supported International Decade for People of African Descent 2015 – 2024.
The public is invited to join us in this regular ritual of reempowerment of ourselves.
Those invited are encouraged to dress moderately and appropriately for entry into sacred space and to bring along votive items of offering that may include orogbo, obi gbanga, obi abata, atare, oti gidi, oti lile, emu, osun, iyerosun, efunepo pupa ati other adimu items of offering appropriate for a ritual of this nature.
May all the masculine and feminine energies and agencies balance and align themselves in favour of assuring a balance Republic Trinidad & Tobago where all are treated with respect, where all are empowered, where justice prevails, where all criminals are apprehended and where due process of law allows for speedy trial and conclusions of trial, where politicians respect the electorate, and where the electorate respect themselves.
