Another ritual year has opened for Egbe Onisin Eledumare, located here in Ile Iere ati Ile Aloubera – Republic Trinidad & Tobago Caribbean.
Our Ritual Year Odun 38, began on Saturday 23rd. November, 2014 when the first New moon to mark the beginning of Ritual Year 38 was sighted.
Egbe Onisin Eledumare, is a pioneer organization in the reclaim of African and Yoruba sacred science here in Republic Trinidad & Tobago and the Caribbean.
In 1971, on the heels of the Black Power Uprisings of 1970, which manifested in Republic Trinidad & Tobago, Caribbean; EGBE ONISIN ELEDUMARE reincarnated from the spiritual realm so as to facilitate reconnection of the African person to the African self with African self defined paradigms.
A short few years after Oloye Orawale Oranfe, then simply known as Br. Olakela became the Oludari of Egbe Onisin Eledumare. It was at this time that the organization began it’s restructuring to fully incorporate and manifest African continental and original paradigms of Cosmology, theology and organizational structure for the proficient management of the affairs of the organization.
It is now 38 yrs. since Oloye Orawale Oranfe has directed the destiny of the organization.
Among the innovations made during the journey of the organization has been the hosting of Ijuba which some say may more accurately be expressed by the Yoruba word Ijosin, for what is conducted by Egbe Onisin Eledumare.
The Ijuba is held to mark the sighting / or anticipation of sighting of the New Moon by the Elders of Egbe Onisin Eledumare.
