Once again the Administration of EGBE ONISIN ELEDUMARE is preparing to open it’s doors to those who seek to become members of our august organization.
EGBE ONISIN ELEDUMARE observes the ancient African tradition of solar observation of the ninety day cycles of the sun and its impact upon our Earth lives.
Every year at what is commonly termed Vernal Equinox and Autumnal Equinox appropriate rituals are conducted and the doors for entry to membership into our organization are open ,so as to let candidates into our halls of learning so that they may be presented before the Immense Light at the time of either Summer Solstice or Winter Solstice.Persons interested in becoming members fill out registration/ application forms and are enrolled for study.
Perspective students are required to show keen interest and to attend classes twice weekly usually on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The subject matters presented include Yoruba Cosmology and Cosmogony, Physical sciences, Intoduction to Yoruba language, and physical and well being practices among others.- December, 2013 classes will begin at 7.00 p.m. on Thursday 26th. September. All perspective students are asked to bring along proof of their identity, 2 obi abata, 2 orogbo, palm oil and gin.
Students acn also expect out of the classroom visits to other spaces of interest.
