Sunday 19th April,2015 saw Egbe Onisin Eledumare launching its efforts for the hosting of this year’s ASE ODUN SANGO 2015.

This year the Festival will be hosted in the Southern end of the island at a venue to be announced.

The announcement came at the regular Ijuba/Ijosin that is hosted by the otganization to sow seeds of success at the incoming of each lunar cycle.

The Ijuba included reports on the progress of Eko Alakobere Awo Orisa that is currently taking place at the organization’s Headquarters 12 First Street, Sparrow Drive, Simeon Road, Petit Valley, Ile Iere, Republic Trinidad & Tobago Caribbean. The Alaga Efunsalewa Ogunkeye reported on several field trips made by the neophtyes to various activities and events hosted by other persons and organizations. This included attendance at the Spiritual Baptist/Shouters  Liberation Day commemoration hosted by the Sai Baba organization Center at Pasea Road; at which Oloye Orawale Oranfe and members of the organization gave a solidarity message befitting the occassion and shared an offering of Orisa music to Orisa.

Spiritual Baptist/Shouters Liberation Day commemoration 2015The Alaga also went on to report on the visit of the students engaging in study for Initiation to the Art Exhibition currently running at the National Museum Port of Spain presented by Master Artist/Elder/Poet Chief Abiodun -Leroy Clarke. The presentation supported in part by the Ministry of National Diversity and Social Integration and is entitled EYE HAYTI…CRIES…EVERYWHERE, which consist of over 110 artistic and spirit messages delivered via the medium of canvas paintings.The Alaga encouraged all Orisa devotees in Trinidad & Tobago to go and communicate with the Ancestors via the Exhibit.

Announcement was also made of the upcoming ASE ODUN SANGO 2015  which this here will be hosted in the Southern point of the island of Trinidad.

The Festival will be from ist June 2015- 7th June 2015.
