EMANCIPATION AN ONGOING PROCESS

Throughout the world at varying and appropriate times, Africans who were enslaved in one of the world’s worst atrocities on a people and a continent, reserve time for ourselves to commemorate/mark/celebrate and reflect upon the period of our enslavement and graciously thank our Ancestors and all spiritual and physical forces and situations and circumstances that combined to open the door to the ongoing Liberation process.

Republic Trinidad & Tobago is one of those Nation states that have legally and officially recognise the right of Africans to commemorate our history of enslavement and degradation followed by an ongoing struggle for social, spiritual, economic and cultural assertion of ourselves in the societal spheres of our operations.

Many have been the contributors to this liberation process and many have been the pathways to this goal. All may not by the eyes of others be deemed “noble” but many of us took the oath :BY ANY MEANS NECESSARY.

Africans worldwide after the several legislative processes and proclamations entitled EMANCIPATION, have engaged in social and spiritual battles and negotiations for the restoration of our narratives since the moment of the disjuncture from our HOMELAND -The Continent of Alkebu-lan/Africa/Afrika.

MANY OF US PARTICIPATED AS LEADERS OF CIVIL RIGHTS STRUGGLES, WOMEN’S RIGHTS, VOTERS RIGHTS, TRADE UNION RIGHTS, WORKING CLASS RIGHTS AND INDEPENDENCE AND FREEDOM FROM COLONIAL STATUS. There is no doubt that we have been the GREATEST AND MOST SIGNIFICANT CONTRIBUTORS TO THE FREEDOM OF THE HUMAN SPIRIT ON THIS PLANET FOR MORE THAN 1 MILLION YEARS.

As Trinbagonians engage the activities and events leading up to the night of proclamation of EMANCIPATION 1833 in the British/English speaking Caribbean polities, we invite all races and all classes of human society to commemorate/celebrate this achievement with us.

We call on all Africans to abstain from the consumption os SHARK from today 27th July Р2015 Р2nd August 2015. SHARKS ATE UP OUR ANCESTORS, AS WE WERE THROWN OR DIVED OVERBOARD. LET US HONOUR THOSE WHO DIED SUCH A DEATH  OR WHO WERE NOT ALLOWED CUSTOMARY RITUALS OF TRANSITION AS A CONSEQUENCE OF THE EVILOUS TRANSATLANTIC SLAVE PROCESS, THAT CARRIED HUMAN BEINGS AS COMMODITIES, AS CHATTEL AND AS INSURANCE ITEMS, WHO COULD BE THROWN OVERBOARD AT THE DISCRETION OF THE SHIPS CREW AND CAPTAIN.

On FRIDAY 31ST JULY 2011 EGBE ONISIN ELEDUMARE WOULD HOST AS USUAL A MEMORIAL RITUAL FOR OUR ANCESTORS. WE SHALL COLLABORATE WITH OTHER DEVOTEES HERE AND IN OTHER PARTS OF THE WORLD INCLUDING THE CONTINENT OF AFRICA TO JOIN IN PRAYER AND LINK UP VIA RADIO NETWORKS TO THANK OUR ANCESTORS FOR OUR OWN ROLE IN OUR ONGOING LIBERATION PROCESS. WE ACKNOWLEDGE THE GOODNESS OF ANY SOUL WHO SAW THE JUSTICE OF OUR CAUSE AND WHO SHARED TO WHATEVER EXTENT IN THE PROCESS OF HAVING PROCLAIMED THE ACT OF EMANCIPATION, BUT WE MAINTAIN THE GREATEST INPUT HAVE BEEN OUR OWN DETERMINATION TO BE FREE.

The Ritual will begin at 11.00.p.m.

Location 12 First Street, Sparrow Drive, Simeon Road, Petit Valley

Offerings: Farine, Obi, Gin, Guinee Pepper, Dry corn, dry fish, yam.
