Trinbagonians are accustomed to two days of celebrations at the begin of November, apparently connected with Ancestors, Ancestral recall and elevated Ancestors.
Yoruba sacred science and culture have always afforded our people tp positively interact with our Ancestors in a formal and stuctured manner through the science of Egun ritual and Egungun masquerade interaction
This year members of Ile Ijosin Otura Meji – Awon Osun led by Yeye Agbamoola Olomitutu – Chief Omotaiewo Ogunlade will conduct rituals to honour our Ancestors personal and collective at their compound.
The event will be held on the compound of Ile Ijosin Otura Meji – Awon Osun, 22 Church Street, Maturita, Arima.
Persons interested in participating can bring offerings of white candles, tobacco, food, rum, wine and games engaged by the Ancestors celebrated. These include cards,dominoes, draughts etc.
You have an opportunity to publicly honour your Ancestors by telling their stories.

Come reflect upon your past and pay respect to the challenges and triumphs of our Ancestors.
Those who cannot attend in person can leave their support messages on this site, or join the participants from your own space by lighting a candle or other appropriate ritual and join with the gathering at Ile Ijosin Otura Meji compound.
